This isn’t about backfilling; it’s about growth. Our events business is expanding, our portfolios are performing strongly, and we need commercially minded people to help us build on that momentum.We’re hiring at both Account Executive and Senior Account Executive level across two distinct areas of our portfolio:Digital Construction Week (DCW) — one of the UK’s most exciting construction tech event portfolios, spanning a flagship London exhibition, a regional Manchester event, an awards ceremony and a year-round digital content hub. Over 10,000 attendees each year at the intersection of construction, technology and innovation.Food & hospitality — Northern Restaurant & Bar Show (NRB), the leading trade event for the hospitality industry in the North of England. Together they offer a rich and varied client base of innovative producers, brands, and suppliers for restaurants, pubs, bars, cafes. coffee shops, food retailers and more.And unlike most sales roles, you’ll see the results of your work in person. With a team of around 100 people, we’re large enough to offer variety and structure, but small enough that individuals make a real difference — and we’ve won Employer of the Year two years running (2025 and 2026) to prove it.What You’ll Be DoingWhichever portfolio you join, the core of the role is the same. Day-to-day, you’ll be:Selling across multiple revenue lines — exhibition stand space, sponsorship packages, digital advertising and awards — the exact mix depending on which portfolio you joinProactively sourcing and qualifying new leads through calls, email, LinkedIn and networking — building your own pipelineManaging and growing client relationships, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the portfolioHitting (and aiming to exceed!) individual and team revenue targetsAttending events on-site, supporting clients and seeing the direct results of your workWhat We’re Looking ForWe’re not after a perfect CV — we’re after the right person. You’ll probably be:Someone with experience in a commercial, sales or client-facing role — whether that’s in events, exhibitions, media, publishing, marketing agencies, recruitment or another environment where you’ve had to persuade, negotiate or grow relationships.
