Account Executive

Accountant – Roles & ResponsibilitiesPosition: AccountantLocation: Dubai, UAEExperience Required: Minimum 4 yearsSoftware: Strong hands-on experience in Tally is mandatoryKey Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities using Tally.Maintain accurate records of sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, and journal entries.Prepare and maintain customer and supplier ledgers and regularly monitor outstanding balances.Handle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, including payment follow-ups and supplier payment schedules.Prepare sales invoices, purchase entries, credit notes, debit notes, receipts, and payment vouchers.Monitor customer outstanding payments and coordinate with the sales/project team for payment collection.Reconcile bank accounts, cash transactions, customer accounts, and supplier accounts.Maintain proper records of cash in hand and bank transactions.Prepare monthly financial reports and management summaries when required.Assist with preparation of VAT calculations, VAT returns, and supporting documents in accordance with UAE VAT requirements.Maintain proper documentation for all accounting transactions and ensure records are complete and organized.Verify invoices, LPOs, quotations, purchase orders, delivery notes, and other supporting documents before recording transactions.Coordinate with suppliers, clients, auditors, and other departments regarding accounting and payment matters.Monitor project-wise income, expenses, invoicing, and outstanding amounts.Maintain proper records of employee advances, expenses, petty cash, and reimbursements.Assist management with cash-flow monitoring, receivables, payables, and other financial information.Ensure all accounting entries are properly updated in Tally on a regular basis.Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.Support external auditors and provide required financial records and supporting documents.Maintain confidentiality of company financial information.Mandatory Requirements:Minimum 4 years of accounting experience.Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience using Tally is mandatory.Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.Good knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, bank reconciliation, and VAT.UAE accounting experience will be an advantage.Good knowledge of MS Excel.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to independently manage day-to-day accounting activities.Good communication and coordination skills.Candidates who have worked in a construction, signage, manufacturing, contracting, or project-based company will be preferred.
