Account Intern

Role OverviewWe’re looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Accounts Intern to support our finance team in ensuring every donation, transaction, and financial record is managed with accuracy and transparency. This internship offers hands-on exposure to accounting operations in a tech-driven social impact ecosystem while helping build financial processes that create real-world impact.Roles & ResponsibilitiesAssist in recording and maintaining financial transactions related to donations, expenses, and operational activities.Support bank reconciliations, payment gateway reconciliations, and verification of financial records.Help maintain organized accounting records and documentation for audits and compliance.Assist in preparing financial reports, MIS reports, and donor fund utilization reports.Support the finance team in tracking campaign funds and ensuring accurate allocation of donations.Assist with invoice processing, expense verification, and vendor payment documentation.Help in month-end and year-end closing activities.Support compliance-related documentation for TDS, GST, and other statutory requirements.Coordinate with internal teams to collect financial information and maintain accurate records.Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned by the reporting manager.Required Skills & QualificationsPursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software is an added advantage.Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.Good organizational and time-management abilities.Eagerness to learn, take ownership, and work in a collaborative environment.Passion for transparency, accountability, and contributing to meaningful social impact.Why Join Us?Gain practical experience in accounting and finance within a fast-growing social impact organization.Work on real financial operations that directly support meaningful causes.Learn industry-standard accounting practices, compliance, and financial reporting.Receive mentorship from experienced finance professionals.Opportunity to earn a full-time role based on performance.Be part of a tech-driven ecosystem committed to creating positive social change.
