From pop culture conventions to business expos, our events cater to both niche and broad audiences, providing incredible opportunities for brands to engage with targeted customers.About the RoleWe're looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven Account Manager to join our Pop Culture Portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about sales, enjoys building long-term partnerships with clients, and wants to work with one of Australia's most recognisable pop culture brands.Working across events including Oz Comic-Con, you'll be responsible for selling exhibition space and sponsorship opportunities, managing an existing portfolio of exhibitors and partners, and identifying new business opportunities to drive revenue growth. Working closely with our marketing, operations and event teams, you'll help deliver outstanding exhibitor and sponsor experiences while contributing to the continued growth and success of our pop culture portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and grow a portfolio of existing exhibitors, sponsors, and key client accounts, building long-term relationships and ensuring high retention.Drive revenue through the sale of exhibition space, sponsorship packages, and integrated marketing opportunities across multiple industries and events.Understand client objectives and provide tailored solutions that align with their business goals and maximise return on investment.Maintain regular communication with clients through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions at industry events and exhibitions.Maintain accurate records, manage sales pipelines, forecast revenue, and ensure timely follow-up using CRM systems.Partner closely with marketing, operations, and event teams to ensure successful event delivery and a positive client experience.Ideal CandidateMinimum 2 years experience in business development, account management, sales or a similar client-focused role.Proven ability to establish credibility, build rapport quickly, and maintain long-term client partnerships.Confident being on the phone, negotiating outcomes, and achieving sales targets.Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with a broad range of stakeholders.Able to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.Comfortable using CRM systems and sales tools to manage client relationships and reporting.Why Join Us?Collaborative Culture: Be part of a supportive, non-political team where we value trust, enthusiasm, and accountability.Growth Opportunity: Play a key role in growing our event-based business and take ownership of your client relationships and sales pipeline.Competitive salary: Salary based on experience plus commission.
