Game Locker · Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجTeam: Sales & Marketing · Type: Full-time · Location: Hybrid | MelbourneAbout Game LockerGame Locker (www.gamelocker.co) is an Australian-owned technology company building purpose-built tools for the trading card game (TCG) community. Our platform is already trusted by game stores across Australia to manage inventory, pricing, and sales for 18+ major card games — from Magic: The Gathering and Pokémon to Lorcana and One Piece. We are now expanding with a new TCG marketplace that will give collectors and players a fast, trustworthy, and delightful way to discover, buy, and sell cards. We are an ambitious team that values craft, ownership, and shipping things people actually love to use.About the RoleWe are looking for an Account Manager to own the growth of our store network — the local game stores that run their business on Game Locker’s point of sale, and who will become the sellers powering our marketplace. This is a full-cycle commercial role. You will hunt for and sign new stores, then keep them growing and happy long after they go live. You will be the trusted advisor a store owner calls when they want to know how to price better, list more, or sell more — and the person who carries their feedback back into our product roadmap. You will also be one of Game Locker’s most visible faces in the TCG and collectibles community, at prereleases, conventions, and store events around the country. What You’ll DoAcquire new stores. Source and sign new customers for Game Locker’s point of sale product through inbound leads, outbound prospecting, direct store visits, events, and referrals — owning the full cycle from first contact to signed and onboarded.Own a portfolio. Manage a book of existing stores as their primary point of contact, running regular touch points and structured feedback sessions to keep accounts healthy, retained, and growing.Grow revenue per account. Own commercial performance across your portfolio — driving deeper platform adoption, more listed inventory, higher transaction volume, and expansion into new modules and the marketplace.Run business reviews. Lead recurring performance conversations with store owners, translating their data into practical, prioritised growth actions they can execute the same week.Build the community. Represent Game Locker at TCG and collectibles events, tournaments, and trade gatherings — building genuine relationships across the hobby and generating pipeline from them.Onboard and activate. Work with our support and engineering teams to get new stores live quickly and confidently, so they see value in their first weeks, not months.Be the voice of the store. Capture what stores need, spot recurring friction, and advocate internally with product and engineering so the roadmap reflects real store problems.Track and report. Maintain accurate pipeline, account, and churn-risk data, and report clearly on acquisition, retention, and growth against target. What We’re Looking ForCommercial track record — 2+ years in account management, business development, customer success, or partnerships, with demonstrated results against acquisition targets.Full-cycle capability — comfortable prospecting cold and equally comfortable nurturing a relationship over years. You want both halves of the job, not just one.Relationship-first approach — you build trust with small business owners quickly and become someone they actually want to hear from.Consultative and data-informed — you can read account performance data, spot the story in it, and turn it into a recommendation a store owner will act on.Confident presenter — able to run a business review, demo a product, and hold a room at an event.Self-starter — comfortable with ambiguity and building process where none exists yet, in a small team where you own your outcomes.Willing to get out from behind the desk — regular store visits, and some weekend or evening events, are part of the role.Professional English proficiency — strong written and spoken English for customer conversations, documentation, and internal collaboration.Bonus PointsGenuine familiarity with the TCG, collectibles, or hobby gaming community — you know what a prerelease weekend looks like from the inside.Experience selling or supporting SaaS, point of sale, or payments products to small and medium businesses.Marketplace or e-commerce seller-side experience (Amazon, eBay, TCGplayer, Shopify, or similar).Retail or store operations background — you understand margin, stock turn, and what a bad Saturday costs a store.CRM fluency and a habit of keeping your pipeline clean without being asked. Why Join UsOwn a territory and a portfolio outright, with real influence over how we go to market.Sit close to the founder and product team — your customer insight directly shapes what we build next.Sell a product to a community you can be part of, not just a market segment.Early commercial hire on a growing platform, with room to grow into leadership as the team scales. How to ApplyIf this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you. Send us a short note about why you’re interested, along with your CV and anything that shows how you build and keep customer relationships.Game Locker is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds.Learn More About UsGet a better feel for who we are, what we’re building, and the community we serve:Website: www.gamelocker.coLinkedIn: linkedin.com/company/gamelockerInstagram: @gamelocker.coTikTok: @gamelocker.coDiscord community: discord.gg/TZNspTa4ZjAll links: linktr.ee/gamelocker.co
