We help Australian businesses access government grants, tax incentives and other funding, working with companies across software, advanced manufacturing, biotechnology, engineering, food and beverage, and other emerging industries. Our team of 20 to 30 is based in Prahran.The roleWe are hiring experienced Consultants to join our growing team. The role is suited to someone with account management or consulting experience who is a strong writer, verbal communicator and enjoys understanding how different businesses operate. You will prepare clear, structured project reports and documentation for Australian businesses, act as a contact for a portfolio of clients, and take on complex and non-standard work. You will sit within a small delivery team led directly by one of our directors, working alongside them day to day.ResponsibilitiesDraft technical narratives, project reports and supporting documentation for government grant and incentive programs.Liaise with businesses to understand their projects, identify the key technical details, and align them to program requirements.Translate technical, and commercial information into clear, structured reports.Develop tailored strategies for clients with complex and non-standard projects.What you'll needAccount management or consulting experience. This is the core of what we are looking for and is a prerequisite for working with us.Strong communication: clear, structured and professional verbal and written communication.The ability to understand unfamiliar industries and technologies and synthesise technical detail into writing.High attention to detail, working within structured guidelines and internal review processes.The ability to read a business's broader profile: operations, financials, technical activities, commercial context and project objectives.You do not need prior experience in any particular industry. We invest in our people and provide full training on the technical side, so the right background in account management or consulting matters more than domain knowledge.
