Account Receivable (AR)

Role Description The Account Receivable (AR) role at Karo-Solutions Sweden is a part-time hybrid position based in Abu Dhabi, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the AR specialist monitors and manages customer accounts, prepares and issues invoices, and tracks payments to ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables. The role includes communicating with clients regarding billing inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and following up on overdue accounts using professional and compliant collection practices. The AR specialist collaborates with finance and operations teams to reconcile accounts, maintain accurate records, and support monthly and quarterly reporting. This position also involves identifying potential process improvements and contributing to efficient cash-flow management.QualificationsStrong analytical skills to review account data, identify discrepancies, and support accurate reporting.Foundational knowledge of finance and accounting principles relevant to accounts receivable.Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and internal stakeholders in a clear, professional manner.Experience with debt collection and follow-up procedures that are compliant, respectful, and results-oriented.Proficiency in invoicing processes, including preparing, issuing, and tracking invoices.Experience with ERP or accounting software and good MS Excel skills.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting and collaborate with distributed teams.Relevant post-secondary education in finance, accounting, business, or a related field is an advantage.Prior experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role is preferred.
