Sterling IRB is Hiring — Accounts Receivable SpecialistSterling IRB is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and providing professional, responsive service to our clients.This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Receivable professional with 2–3 years of experience who is comfortable managing multiple accounts, following up on outstanding balances, resolving billing questions, and working collaboratively with internal teams.Remote flexibility: This position may be performed remotely following completion of initial on-site training in the Atlanta area.What You’ll DoManage accounts receivable and monitor outstanding client balancesPrepare and distribute invoices and account statementsFollow up professionally and consistently on past-due accountsResearch and resolve billing discrepancies and payment questionsApply payments and reconcile customer accountsMaintain accurate and current accounts receivable recordsPrepare and review accounts receivable aging reportsWork closely with Account Management, Finance, and other internal teamsRespond to client billing inquiries promptly and professionallyAssist with month-end reporting and other accounting activities as neededWhat We’re Looking For2–3 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, collections, or a related accounting roleStrong attention to detail and excellent organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProfessional and confident when communicating with clients regarding billing and paymentsStrong follow-through and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesProficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft OfficeExperience with accounting or billing software preferredAbility to work independently and remain productive in a remote environmentWhat We OfferSterling IRB offers a competitive salary and strong benefits package, along with the flexibility of a remote work environment following initial on-site training.About Sterling IRBSterling IRB is a growing organization dedicated to providing high-quality institutional review board services to the clinical research community.
