Accountant - 7-8,000 AED (Zoho Experience) - Dubai based - Must have UAE experience - Real Estate & hospitality experience

Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Accountant with strong UAE accounting knowledge and hands-on experience using Zoho.The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, VAT compliance and UAE Corporate Tax requirements. This role requires someone who is highly organised, accurate and confident managing finance processes independently.Real Estate and Hospitality experience preferred but not essential.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting activities using ZohoMaintain accurate general ledger recordsPrepare monthly management accounts and financial reportsHandle accounts payable and accounts receivablePerform bank, supplier and customer reconciliationsPrepare profit & loss statements, balance sheets and cash-flow reportsManage month-end and year-end closing processesPrepare and submit UAE VAT returnsEnsure compliance with UAE VAT legislation and record-keeping requirementsSupport and manage UAE Corporate Tax calculations, documentation and filing requirementsMaintain accurate tax records and supporting schedulesAssist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysisMonitor expenses, revenue and cash flowLiaise with auditors, tax advisers and external consultants where requiredEnsure all accounting processes comply with UAE regulatory requirementsSupport management with financial information and ad-hoc reportingCandidate RequirementsDegree in Accounting, Finance or a related fieldPrevious accounting experience in the UAEStrong Zoho experience is essentialPractical experience preparing and filing UAE VAT returnsStrong knowledge of UAE Corporate TaxGood understanding of UAE accounting and compliance requirementsExperience with management accounts and financial reportingStrong Excel skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong organisational and time-management skillsAbility to work independently and meet reporting deadlinesGood written and verbal communication skillsSalary budget: 7,000 AED - 8,000 AED per month + medical + visaPlease send CV's to david@therigrecruitment.com
