We’re Hiring – Accountant | Al Madinah, Saudi ArabiaWe are looking for a qualified Accountant to join our team in Al Madinah.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with preferable experience in the bakery, food & beverage.PositionAccountantLocation: Al Madinah, Saudi ArabiaExperience: Minimum 3 yearsIndustry Preference: Bakery / Food & Beverage Employment Type: Full-timeKey ResponsibilitiesManage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.Prepare and review journal entries, invoices, receipts, payments, and other accounting documents.Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.Perform daily cash, bank, and account reconciliations.Monitor sales, purchases, expenses, and inventory-related transactions.Assist with monthly closing and financial reporting.Prepare and analyze financial statements and accounting reports.Maintain accurate records of company expenses and ensure proper supporting documentation.Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding financial matters.Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up on pending balances.Assist with inventory and cost accounting, particularly raw materials, production costs, wastage, and finished goods.Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis when required.Ensure compliance with Saudi accounting, tax, VAT, and regulatory requirements.Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.Assist auditors and management with required financial information and reports.Perform other accounting and finance duties assigned by management.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting.Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.Bakery, F&B, restaurant, experience is highly preferred.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.Good understanding of VAT and ZATCA requirements in Saudi Arabia.Experience with inventory accounting and cost control is an advantage.Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.Strong analytical and numerical skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Good organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.Candidates currently based in Al Madinah are preferred.Preferred SkillsCandidates with experience in the bakery business will have a strong advantage, particularly those familiar with:Raw material purchasing and consumptionProduction costingRecipe and product costingInventory controlWastage and variance analysisDaily sales reconciliationPOS and cash reconciliationFood production expensesSupplier and customer accountsCost of goods sold (COGS)Branch accounting
