Accountant – Billing-Trucking industry

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with experience in billing and receivables to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate billing for the trucking team.Job Type: 2 Year ContractLocation: Jabel Ali Free ZonePreferably with trucking industry experienceKey Responsibilities:Customer Invoicing: Timely and accurate invoicing to customer based on agreed tariff / rates.Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations to ensure there are no old unbilled items.Dispute Resolution: Liase with internal stakeholders and customer and resolve the disputes, if any.Reporting: Preparing & reviewing reports relating to billing and other adhoc reports.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA/MCOM/CPA/CA or equivalent certification preferred).2–3 years of experience in managing billing and invoicing.Trucking industry experience preferred.Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft ExcelHigh attention to detail and strong analytical skillsExcellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
