An Accountant helps businesses financial transactions by collecting, tracking, and correcting the company’s finances. He is responsible for financial audits, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring financial records are accurate throughout the year.Job Accountabilities & Key Results Area·      Accurate recording and summarizing financial transactions.·      Assist in accounts payable, payroll, receivable management, and fixed asset processes.·      Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.·      Support with audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.·      Identify and report any financial discrepancies or irregularities.·      Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.·      Maintain accounting controls through strict compliance with company policies and procedures.·      Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.Secure financial information by completing database backups.
