The Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate ledgers. Responsibilities include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The role will also involve managing accounts payable and receivable, supporting audits, monitoring cash flow, and collaborating with other departments to provide financial insights. The Accountant is expected to identify opportunities to improve financial processes and support management in making informed business decisions.Qualifications Strong skills in general accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making.Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., ERP systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and local tax and regulatory requirements in the UAE.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA) are an advantage.Excellent attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Prior experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within a corporate or commercial environment.
