قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجROLE PURPOSEThe Accountant is responsible for the day to day running of TDG’s finance function. The role covers supplier payments, payroll, bookkeeping and the month-end close, together with the statutory filings and reconciliations that keep the company compliant and audit-ready.TDG is a Closed Joint Stock Company with a formal governance framework, an Audit Committee and a delegation of authority. The successful candidate will work inside those controls rather than around them, and will help build finance routines that stand up to external audit as the business grows.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Accountant's responsibilities span the day to day running of TDG's finance function, from payments and payroll through to the month-end close, tax compliance and project accounting, as detailed below:PAYMENTS AND ACCOUNT PAYABLES• Process supplier invoices, verify them against purchase orders, contracts and approved rates, and resolve discrepancies with the originating department.• Prepare and execute payment runs through the company’s banking platforms, ensuring every payment is supported by the approvals required under TDG’s delegation of authority.• Maintain the supplier ledger, including onboarding new vendors, verifying bank details independently of email instructions, and keeping records of commercial registrations and VAT certificates.• Manage petty cash, employee expense claims and corporate card reconciliations.• Prepare cash flow forecasts and maintain the payment schedule so the business has visibility of upcoming commitments.PAYROLL• Prepare and process the monthly payroll, including salaries, allowances, overtime, deductions and final settlements.• Administer GOSI contributions and ensure salary disbursement complies with the Wage Protection System.• Calculate and maintain end of service benefit accruals in line with Saudi Labour Law.• Reconcile payroll to the general ledger each month and maintain confidential payroll records.• Work with Human Resources on new joiners, leavers, contract changes and leave settlements.BOOKKEEPING AND MONTH-END CLOSE • Maintain the general ledger, posting journals accurately and to the correct cost centre and project code.• Perform monthly bank, supplier, intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations.• Manage fixed asset and depreciation schedules, prepayments and accruals.• Deliver the month-end close to an agreed timetable and prepare the supporting schedules behind the management accounts.• Support the preparation of monthly management reporting and variance commentary for the Finance Manager.TAX AND STATUTORY COMPLIANCE • Prepare and submit VAT returns, and maintain the underlying records to ZATCA standards.• Support ZATCA e-invoicing compliance, including the integration phase requirements for invoice generation and reporting.• Support the preparation of Zakat and corporate income tax filings.• Assist with withholding tax calculation and filing on cross-border payments.• Prepare audit schedules and act as a first point of contact for external auditors during the annual audit.PROJECT AND DEVELOPMENT ACCOUNTING • Record and track development costs by project, distinguishing capitalised development expenditure from operating cost.• Process contractor and consultant payment applications in coordination with the Delivery team, including retention, advance payment recovery and variations.• Maintain project cost records that reconcile to the approved budget and support cost reporting to management.• Support escrow account administration and reporting for off-plan sales where applicable.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERINCE • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline.• Two to three years of practical accounting experience, ideally within Saudi Arabia.• Working knowledge of IFRS as endorsed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.• Demonstrated experience of VAT return preparation and ZATCA requirements.• Hands-on payroll experience, including GOSI and the Wage Protection System.• Progress towards SOCPA, ACCA, CPA or CMA is an advantage.• Experience in real estate, development or contracting is an advantage but is not required.• Professional fluency in Arabic and English.SYSTEMS AND TECHNICAL SKILLS • Confident user of an ERP or accounting platform, whether SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, Zoho Books or comparable.• Strong Excel, including lookups, pivot tables and structured reconciliation work.• Familiarity with Saudi government and banking portals, including ZATCA, GOSI, Mudad and corporate banking platforms.• Comfortable working with digital approval workflows and electronic document filing rather than paper.PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES • Accurate and methodical, with genuine attention to detail in reconciliation and record keeping.• Discreet and trustworthy. The role has sight of payroll, banking and commercially sensitive information.• Willing to work within controls and to say no when an approval is missing, including to senior colleagues.• Organised enough to hold a monthly close timetable while handling day to day queries from across the business.• Comfortable in a growing organisation where processes are still being built and improved.
