Accountant

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Jeddah. The Accountant will manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, expense recording, and bank reconciliations. The role includes preparing financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and maintaining accurate general ledger entries. The Accountant will monitor project costs, assist with cost control and variance analysis, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and Saudi regulations. Additional responsibilities include preparing reports for management, coordinating with external auditors, maintaining organized financial documentation, and collaborating with project and operations teams to support informed decision-making.Required Experience: 3-5 years QualificationsStrong skills in financial accounting and reporting, including general ledger management and financial statement preparation.Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, ideally within construction or project-based environments.Ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations with attention to detail and accuracy.Experience using accounting software and ERP systems, as well as MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting.Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and local financial regulations applicable in Saudi Arabia.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is an advantage.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.Integrity, reliability, and alignment with BySquad’s values of transparency, honesty, dependency, and commitment.Previous experience in the construction or real estate development sector is highly beneficial.
