This role is responsible for managing daily financial transactions, including recording expenses and revenues, maintaining ledgers, and ensuring accurate data entry into accounting systems. The Accountant prepares financial statements and reports, assists with budgeting, monitors cash flow, and supports month-end and year-end closing activities. The role includes reconciling accounts, handling invoices and payments, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies. The Accountant collaborates with management to provide financial insights that support decision-making and operational efficiency.Qualifications Strong skills in general accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting, with the ability to maintain accurate and organized financial records.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheets, basic formulas, and data analysis tools.Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and cash flow management to support operational and strategic planning.Understanding of basic taxation, compliance requirements, and audit support processes.Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities in financial contexts.Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with operational and management teams on-site.Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality of financial information.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is an advantage.Previous experience in accounting or finance, preferably within service, hospitality, or wellness industries, is beneficial.
