The Accountant will manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including recording transactions, maintaining the general ledger, and reconciling bank and supplier accounts. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, processing payments, managing accounts receivable and payable, and supporting payroll calculations. The role also involves preparing monthly and annual financial reports, assisting with budgeting and cash flow tracking, and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations. The Accountant will collaborate with project and operations teams to monitor project costs, provide financial insights, and support audits and internal controls.Qualifications Strong foundation in accounting principles, including general ledger management, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.Proficiency with accounting software and Excel, with the ability to work with spreadsheets, financial models, and data analysis tools.Knowledge of local UAE financial regulations, tax requirements, and compliance standards, or willingness to learn quickly.Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a project-based environment.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are an advantage.Previous experience as an accountant or finance professional, ideally within construction, interiors, or project-based industries.Ability to work on-site in Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates, and maintain confidentiality and integrity in all financial matters.
