About usMetrion Trading FZCO is a wholesale distributor of Apple and Samsung products based in Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZA)The roleYou will be our first in-house accounting hire, reporting directly to the General Manager. Hands-on bookkeeping and data entry: you record documents accurately and on time — you do NOT prepare statutory reports (VAT and Corporate Tax filings are handled by our external tax consultants).Responsibilities- Collect documents from suppliers and customers (invoices, delivery notes, contracts) and make sure every document is complete, correct, signed and stamped — chase missing or incorrect paperwork by phone, email and in person when needed. This is the core of the role.- Check every incoming document before recording it: amounts, dates, TRN, signatures, stamps- Enter supplier invoices, sales invoices, receipts and payment vouchers into the accounting system (First Bit / 1C)- Process daily bank statements and reconcile bank accounts- Reconcile supplier and customer accounts- Prepare payment registers for management approval- Keep the document archive in order (invoices, contracts, customs documents)- Provide documents to our external accountants on requestRequirements- 2+ years of accounting / bookkeeping experience (UAE experience preferred)- Confident Excel user; experience with First Bit or 1C is a strong advantage (Tally / Zoho / QuickBooks also considered)- Fluent English (written and spoken) — required- Russian is a strong advantage (part of our team and suppliers communicate in Russian); Hindi/Urdu or Arabic is a plus- Attention to detail, comfortable with steady document volume- Candidates on own / family (spouse) visa preferredWe offer- AED 4,500 – 6,500 per month depending on experience, software skills (1C / First Bit) and languages- Medical insurance- Office in Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZA)- Stable full-time role, 6-month probation as per UAE Labour LawNote: applications without UAE accounting experience will not be considered.
