Edison Smart is proud to partner with a growing technology company based in Dubai looking for an Accountant to join their finance team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys ownership over day-to-day accounting operations and is comfortable managing multiple sets of accounts.Key ResponsibilitiesManage financial accounting and bookkeeping across the businessOversee general ledger management and ensure accuracy of recordsHandle VAT and Corporate Tax registration, filing, and ongoing complianceCoordinate the annual External Audit process, liaising directly with auditorsManage multiple books of accounts across entities/business unitsSupport financial reports consolidation where requiredMaintain compliance with local regulatory requirementsWhat We're Looking For3+ years of experience in financial accounting/bookkeepingSolid understanding of VAT and Corporate Tax compliance in the UAEPrior experience coordinating or directly supporting external auditsComfortable managing multiple entities/books of accounts simultaneouslyStrong Excel and ERP systems proficiencyA good network of Tax Advisors, Auditors, or Consultants in Dubai is a plusStrong attention to detail and ability to work independently
