The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, preparing invoices, and reconciling bank and vendor accounts. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing. The role also involves handling tax-related documentation, supporting statutory compliance, coordinating with auditors, and maintaining up-to-date records in accounting software. The Accountant will collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights, respond to queries, and support decision-making while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.Qualifications Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and reconciliation.Proficiency with accounting and ERP software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) and solid MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.Understanding of taxation, GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements relevant to Indian financial regulations.Ability to manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring, with attention to accuracy and timeliness.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with a high level of attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, MBA in Finance) are an advantage.Prior experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within HR services, staffing, or professional services organizations.Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality in handling financial data, and commitment to compliance and ethical standards.
