AccountantLocation: Abu Dhabi, United Arab EmiratesJob Type: Full-timeAl Raya Group is a fast-growing real estate and hospitality company specializing in real estate management, leasing, hospitality, facilities management, and commercial real estate services.The OpportunityWe are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our finance team in the UAE. The successful candidate will support day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks, maintain accurate financial records, assist with month-end and year-end closing, liaise with and support auditors, and support compliance with applicable UAE accounting and tax requirements.What You'll DoMaintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and financial transactions.Support in daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activities.Process supplier invoices, payments, receipts, and expense claims.Prepare customer invoices and monitor outstanding receivables.Perform regular bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.Assist with monthly and year-end closing activities.Prepare supporting schedules and financial reports for management.Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.Assist with payroll-related accounting entries and reconciliations where required.Support external auditors during annual audits and provide requested documentation.Assist with UAE VAT accounting, reconciliations, return preparation, and related compliance requirements.Ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.Identify discrepancies and follow up on outstanding accounting issues.Assist the Finance Manager / Senior Accountants with ad hoc accounting tasks.What We OfferSalary of AED 2,000 – AED 3,000 per month with Accommodation provided.Career development and advancement opportunities.A collaborative and professional working environment.The opportunity to contribute to the financial strategy and growth of a rapidly expanding organization.Who Should ApplyBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within UAE.Real Estate experience preferred.Experienced in Zoho Books (or a similar ERP) and Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Working knowledge of UAE VAT; exposure to UAE Corporate Tax is an advantage.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Professional working level proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.Apply in confidenceIf you are an experienced accounting professional looking to take the next step in your career and contribute to the growth of a dynamic organization, we invite you to apply and become part of Al Raya Group.
