The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, preparing invoices, and reconciling bank statements. The role involves preparing financial reports, assisting with budgeting, monitoring expenses, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies. The Accountant will support month-end and year-end closing activities, coordinate with auditors, and provide financial data and insights to management for decision-making. The position requires close collaboration with other departments to ensure accurate billing, payment processing, and inventory-related financial entries.Qualifications Strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliation.Proficiency in preparing financial statements, management reports, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.Experience with accounting software, spreadsheets, and basic ERP or inventory systems.Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and cash flow management.Understanding of relevant accounting standards, internal controls, and compliance requirements.Excellent numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.Ability to organize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Prior experience in trading, distribution, or industrial products is an advantage.
