Accountant – ElectroState FZCOLocation: Dubai, UAEEmployment: Full-TimePosition OverviewElectroState FZCO is looking for a smart, highly organized, and hands-on Accountant who can independently manage the company’s complete accounting operations.Strong practical experience with Odoo Accounting is a mandatory requirement. The successful candidate should be comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, reporting, compliance, inventory-related accounting, and financial controls.Key Responsibilities* Manage the full accounting cycle and daily accounting operations.* Record and verify sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses, and journal entries.* Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).* Perform daily/monthly bank, cash, customer, and supplier reconciliations.* Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation in Odoo.* Handle inventory accounting and reconcile physical stock, Odoo inventory, and financial records.* Monitor landed costs, purchase costs, inventory valuation, and cost of goods sold.* Prepare monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and management reports.* Monitor customer outstanding balances, supplier payments, and company cash flow.* Handle UAE VAT calculations, reconciliations, filing preparation, and supporting documentation.* Support UAE Corporate Tax compliance and maintain audit-ready records.* Manage multi-currency transactions and foreign supplier/customer accounts.* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.* Identify accounting discrepancies and investigate their root causes.* Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls.* Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, customers, and management when required.* Provide management with accurate financial information to support business decisions.Mandatory Requirements* Strong hands-on experience with Odoo Accounting – MUST HAVE.* Minimum 3–5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in UAE trading, distribution, electronics, mobile phones, or import/export.* Strong understanding of the complete accounting cycle.* Good knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements.* Strong experience with inventory and trading-company accounting.* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.* Experience with multi-currency transactions and international suppliers/customers.* Ability to prepare and understand P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and management reports.* Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.* Good written and spoken English.What We Are Looking ForWe are not looking for someone who only enters accounting data.We want a proactive accountant who:* Thinks analytically and notices when numbers do not make sense.* Can investigate discrepancies and solve problems independently.* Understands the relationship between purchasing, inventory, sales, logistics, and accounting.* Is highly accurate and pays attention to details.* Takes ownership and follows tasks through to completion.* Can organize accounting processes and suggest improvements.* Is comfortable working in a fast-moving international trading environment.* Can provide management with clear numbers, explanations, and recommendations, not just reports.Important: Candidates without practical Odoo Accounting experience will not be considered.
