Team members work in a professional environment that values accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement in financial practices.Role Description The Accountant role at Magnafin International is a full-time, on-site position located in Abudhabi. The Accountant will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, prepare and review financial statements, and ensure timely recording of transactions in accordance with relevant accounting standards. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and ledger accounts, assisting with audit preparation, and supporting tax and compliance reporting. The role also involves preparing financial reports for internal and client stakeholders, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with auditors and consultants to support corporate audit and advisory engagements.QualificationsStrong skills in general accounting, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and preparation of financial statements.Proficiency with accounting and finance software solutions, spreadsheets (e.g., Excel), and ERP or accounting systems.Knowledge of corporate audit processes, internal controls, and compliance with relevant accounting and tax regulations in the UAE.Ability to consolidate and close month-end financials and ReportingAttention to detail, strong analytical and numerical skills, and the ability to interpret financial data for reporting and decision support.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as ACCA, or CA Inter are an advantage.High level of integrity, professional ethics, and ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
