Accountant

Conda Capital is an investment fund. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant to join our finance function.The accountant will assist with book-keeping, treasury function and finance related matters. This role requires a hands-on approach, with responsibilities ranging from day-to-day operational tasks to some level of financial planning for the firm.Key Responsibilities:Treasury & Cash Management• Make necessary payments• Manage cash flow, bank accounts and liquidityTax & Regulatory Compliance• Work with external tax advisor for GST reporting and corporate tax returnsFinancial Control & Reporting• Oversee full set of accounts and ensure timely and accurate monthly book-keeping• Prepare annual financial statements• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and SFRS standards• Implement financial controls and maintain accurate financial recordsRequirements:• Minimally a diploma in Accounting• Proven experience 3-5 years in a finance, preferably within the asset management or hedge fund.• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.• Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, Quickbooks, etc.).• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
