As a stockist and distributor of various blasting abrasives, Clean Blast positions itself as a one-stop partner for innovative blasting and coating solutions.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Thiruvananthapuram. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, preparing invoices, and reconciling bank and supplier accounts. Responsibilities include assisting with monthly and annual closing, preparing financial statements and management reports, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. The role will also involve handling accounts payable and receivable, monitoring inventory-related costs, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations, and coordinating with external auditors when required. The Accountant will collaborate with operations and management teams to provide accurate financial data and support decision-making.Qualifications Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.Experience with accounting software and ERP systems, and proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office tools.Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, taxation, and payroll-related entries.Attention to detail, strong analytical and numerical skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams on-site.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, ACCA) are an advantage.Prior experience in industrial, manufacturing, or engineering environments is preferred.Familiarity with regional tax and compliance requirements relevant to operations in India and the Middle East is beneficial.
