Pool Tech positions itself as a trusted partner for building new pools, upgrading existing installations, and keeping water features in optimal condition.Role Description The Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for managing the financial operations of Pool Tech Swimming Pools Installation Co LLC. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining accurate financial records, preparing and reviewing invoices, handling accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank statements. The role also involves preparing financial reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, monitoring project costs, and ensuring timely vendor and client payments. The Accountant will support compliance with local financial regulations and company policies, coordinate with external auditors when needed, and work closely with management to provide financial insights for decision-making. This position requires regular collaboration with operations and project teams to align financial tracking with ongoing pool construction and maintenance activities.Qualifications Strong skills in financial record-keeping, general ledger management, and account reconciliation.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to prepare accurate financial reports and statements.Experience in managing accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and cash flow tracking.Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and project-based accounting, preferably in construction or services industries.Understanding of UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, and basic tax compliance requirements.Excellent numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work professionally with internal teams and external partners.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are an advantage.Previous accounting experience in Dubai or the wider UAE market is preferred.
