Applicants can expect to join a company that values collaboration, creativity, and strong execution.Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements. The role includes maintaining general ledgers, monitoring cash flow, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting to support project and company financial planning. The Accountant will ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies, and support periodic audits with accurate documentation and reports. They will collaborate with project managers and leadership to provide financial insights on ongoing interior projects, cost allocations, and profitability. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi.Qualifications Strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliation.Proficiency in accounting software and ERP tools (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar), along with solid MS Excel skills for analysis and reporting.Knowledge of relevant tax laws, statutory compliance, and basic audit procedures applicable to commercial businesses.Analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret financial data, support budgeting, and provide recommendations to management.Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with project, operations, and leadership teams.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a project-focused environment.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.Prior experience in construction, interiors, or project-based industries is beneficial, as well as familiarity with cost accounting and project budgeting.
