Accountant

Saba Medical Center is seeking a full-time, on-site Accountant in Sharjah to manage and support the clinic’s daily financial operations. The role includes maintaining accurate accounting records, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices and payments, reconciling clinic revenue and collections, preparing journal entries, monitoring expenses, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.The Accountant will also assist with budgeting, financial reporting, bank reconciliations, insurance-related financial reconciliations, and ensuring that all financial transactions are properly documented and compliant with internal controls and applicable UAE financial requirements. The role requires close coordination with reception, insurance, administration, suppliers, and management to ensure accurate reporting and smooth clinic operations.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Previous clinic or medical center experience handling financial operations is required.Strong experience in accounting, billing, collections, reconciliations, expenses, and financial reporting.Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and clinic revenue reconciliation.Familiarity with medical insurance receivables and billing is preferred.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Knowledge of UAE VAT and financial compliance requirements is an advantage.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with different clinic departments.ACCA, CPA, CMA, or similar professional certification is an advantage.
