Accountant

Accountant (CA/CPA) – Oil & Gas Trading Company, AjmanAn Oil & Gas trading company in Dubai is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join its growing team. The ideal candidate must be a CA or CPA holder (mandatory) with a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within the Oil & Gas or construction industry. The selected candidate must be available to join immediately.Responsibilities:Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations.Handle reconciliations, financial entries, and month-end closing.Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports.Monitor payables, receivables, and maintain accurate ledgers.Coordinate with suppliers, auditors, and internal departments to ensure accurate financial documentation.Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.Assist with cash flow reporting and financial planning activities.Qualifications:CA or CPA certification (completed and mandatory).Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas or construction industry.Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting standards, and reconciliation processes.Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (SAP experience is an advantage).Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Based in the UAE and available for immediate joining.
