The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, preparing journals, maintaining the general ledger, and performing reconciliations for bank accounts, vendors, and clients. The role includes preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and assisting with cash flow monitoring. The Accountant will handle accounts payable and receivable, monitor billing and collections, ensure accurate invoicing for media bookings, and support tax computations, statutory filings, and compliance with local accounting standards. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to provide financial insights, supporting audits, improving financial processes, and using accounting and spreadsheet software to maintain accurate and timely records.Qualifications Strong financial accounting and reporting skills, including general ledger management, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable processes, billing, collections, and vendor management, ideally within a media or advertising environment.Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring, with the ability to analyze financial data and provide clear insights to stakeholders.Solid knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory filing requirements, with exposure to audit support and internal controls.Competence in using accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or similar) and advanced Excel skills for reporting, analysis, and data validation.Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, campaign-driven environment.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and a commitment to ethical, transparent financial practices.Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) or progress toward such qualifications are an advantage.
