The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial activities, including recording journal entries, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling bank and account statements. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, tracking accounts receivable and accounts payable, processing payroll data, and supporting month-end and year-end closing. The role also involves preparing financial reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors. The Accountant will help improve financial processes and provide accurate financial information to support decision-making.Qualifications Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including general ledger management, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel) and comfort working with financial data and spreadsheets.Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and basic cost control principles.Understanding of UAE financial regulations, tax concepts, and compliance requirements (experience in construction or manufacturing is an advantage).Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work on-site in Sharjah, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and maintain confidentiality of financial information.Relevant academic qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CMA, ACCA, CPA) are a plus.
