Wajda Group offers opportunities to work on complex regional initiatives with a focus on technical excellence and reliable service delivery.Role Description The Accountant role at Wajda Group is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh. The individual in this role will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling bank and account statements. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, assisting with month-end and year-end closing, and supporting the preparation of financial reports and budgets. The Accountant will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls, coordinate with internal teams and external auditors, and provide accurate financial data to support decision-making.Qualifications Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting.Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, as well as MS Excel and other office applications.Ability to analyze financial data, prepare budgets, and contribute to forecasting and cost control.Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and auditors.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are an advantage.Familiarity with local regulations and tax requirements in Saudi Arabia or the region is preferred.
