Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially aware Accountant with hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) to support financial operations across our multi-brand luxury retail business. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge along with a recognized qualification such as CMA or ACCA.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliationsEnsure accurate and timely financial reporting and month-end closingMaintain and optimize accounting processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisEnsure compliance with IFRS and UAE financial regulationsHandle inventory accounting and cost tracking (critical for retail environment)Coordinate with internal stakeholders across retail stores, warehouses, and corporate teamsAssist in audit preparation and liaise with external auditorsMonitor cash flow, petty cash, and expense controlsKey RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting / FinanceProfessional certification: CMA or ACCA (mandatory/preferred)3–6 years of accounting experience (preferably in retail, luxury, or F&B sectors)Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance module)Solid understanding of financial reporting, VAT, and compliance in UAEAdvanced proficiency in ExcelStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsPreferred ExperienceExperience in multi-entity or multi-store retail environmentsExposure to inventory-heavy businessesFamiliarity with ERP integrations and automationAbout the CompanyMohamed Hilal Group is a UAE-based luxury group founded in 2001, operating across perfumery, retail, and F&B with 100+ stores across the GCC and over 1,000 employees.The group is known for brands like Hind Al Oud, Khaltat, and Anfasic Dokhoon, and emphasizes innovation, experiential retail, and emotional brand storytelling.
