Ayush Uniforms aims to become India’s most trusted uniform brand by combining traditional craftsmanship with modern efficiency.Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, preparing vouchers, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements. The role involves handling accounts payable and receivable, invoicing clients, tracking payments, and supporting budgeting and cost control for manufacturing and operations. The Accountant will prepare periodic financial reports, assist with statutory compliance, and coordinate with auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, requiring close collaboration with the operations, sales, and management teams to support smooth financial workflows.Qualifications Strong skills in bookkeeping, general ledger management, and bank reconciliation.Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoicing processes.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel.Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory tax and compliance requirements in India.Ability to prepare financial statements, management reports, and support budgeting activities.Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.Prior experience in manufacturing, textiles, or a similar industry is preferred.
