We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone is valued, respected, and empowered to contribute.Job PurposeTo support the organization's financial operations by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, and providing timely financial insights that support effective business decision-making.What You'll DoPrepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, and Cash Flow Statements.Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.Prepare tax documentation and support compliance with relevant tax regulations.Analyze financial data and generate ad hoc reports to support business and management requirements.Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy.Support month-end and year-end closing processes.Ensure compliance with IFRS, company policies, and internal controls.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations for business decisions.What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is an advantage.Strong understanding of IFRS and accounting principles.Experience preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.Ability to interpret and analyze financial reports with strong attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.BenefitsCompetitive salary and performance-based incentivesHealth and wellness supportCareer development and learning opportunitiesExposure to high-impact projects and cross-functional teamsA collaborative culture that encourages innovation and ownershipSo, what does it really mean to work at Shory?We are building a company where people are empowered to do their best work and grow.
