Each digital holding represents ownership of physical gold backed by bullion and maintained through secure, allocated storage solutions. The platform is designed to make gold ownership simpler, more transparent, and accessible for a new generation of investors.Role Description the Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling bank and custodial accounts. The role involves preparing financial statements and reports, monitoring cash flows, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes. The accountant will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, internal controls, and local regulatory requirements, as well as support internal and external audits. The role also includes coordinating with operations and treasury teams to align financial records with gold trading activities and custody arrangements. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.QualificationsStrong skills in financial accounting and reporting, including general ledger management and preparation of financial statements.Proficiency in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring, with attention to detail and accuracy.Experience using accounting software and ERP systems, and strong competence with Excel and other office productivity tools.Knowledge of UAE financial regulations, tax considerations, and compliance requirements; familiarity with DMCC-related processes is an advantage.Ability to analyze financial data, identify variances, and provide clear insights to support business decision-making.Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) are a plus.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners.Integrity, discretion, and commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and confidential financial information.Experience in financial services, commodities, or trading environments, particularly in gold or precious metals, is beneficial.
