قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجJob SummaryThe Accountant will prepare and maintain financial records to track the organizations assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, direct the financial operations of the company including budgeting, planning, investing and other financial matters.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:· Responsible for financial reporting, accounting, billing, collections, and budget preparation.· Coordinates the company’s financial planning, budgeting and investment activities· Provides financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations· Prepares periodic financial statements, activity reports, financial forecasts and annual budgets· Ensures that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) · Reviews financial details from past, present and forecasted operations; identifies development opportunities and improvements that can be made· Collaborates with external auditors to provide information needed for the annual audit.· Maintains knowledge of organizational procedures, federal and state regulations and accounting standards· Sets of new accounts, reconciles accounts and closes the monthly books.· Reconciles bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits and addresses inquiries from the banks· Reconciles cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts; manages accounts receivable collections· Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit· Files tax forms with federal, state and local government agencies· Coordinates with software vendor to maintain accounting software systems; Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and/or Experience · Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, required; along with 2 years of related experience required.· Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable preferred. · Knowledge of Department of Transportation laws a plus. · Strong analytical skills a must.· Exceptional ability to stay attentive when dealing with customers. · Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office Products, including Excel and Word. · Focused and efficient work ethic with time sensitive data and communication turn around. · Strong understanding of business financial data flow and analysis. · Experience working closely with others on a team, as well as independently. · Clear communication skills aimed at understanding customers’ needs and providing corresponding services.
