Company Description: Al-Sunober Co. is one of Iraq's leading food production and packaging companies, proudly owning and operating a portfolio of distinguished brands and initiatives.Through Ridha Alwan Coffee, the Ridha Alwan Cultural Foundation, and the Coffee and Tea Festival, we combine excellence in manufacturing with innovation, culture, and community engagement, creating exceptional experiences for our customers and meaningful career opportunities for our people.#We're Hiring: Branch AccountantLocation: Ridha Alwan Branch – Basra, IraqWe are seeking a qualified, detail-oriented, and motivated Branch Accountant to join our team at the Ridha Alwan Branch in Basra.Key Responsibilities:The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the daily accounting operations of the branch, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the finance department with timely reports and reconciliations.Responsibilities include:Recording daily accounting transactions accurately.Managing cash, expenses, revenues, and branch financial movements.Preparing and reviewing accounting entries.Handling account reconciliations, including cash, bank, suppliers, and customers.Working with the Chart of Accounts and ensuring proper classification of transactions.Following the Unified Accounting System and internal accounting policies.Preparing periodic financial and branch reports.Supporting inventory, sales, and purchasing processes.Coordinating with the head office finance team.Ensuring proper documentation and filing of all financial transactions.Requirements:A bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.Experience working with ERP systems.Knowledge of Odoo ERP is highly preferred.Good understanding of the Chart of Accounts.Familiarity with the Unified Accounting System is a strong advantage.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting-related reports.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Good communication and organizational skills.Previous experience as a Branch Accountant or in a similar accounting position is preferred.Work Location:Ridha Alwan Branch – Basra, Iraq
