We’re Hiring: Accountant (Full-Time)Are you an experienced finance professional skilled in managing end-to-end accounting operations across international entities? HCPA is seeking an Accountant to oversee day-to-day financial operations across our Australian and US entities.About HCPA HCPA is a regulatory consulting firm that helps clients establish and scale businesses in highly regulated industries—including NDIS, Aged Care, Childcare, Medicinal Cannabis, and Cosmetic Injectables. Having supported over 12,000 business setups, we also deliver advisory services in growth strategy, diversification, and government funding access.Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Management: Oversee weekly payroll for AU and US operations, maintaining full compliance with statutory guidelines (PAYGW, Superannuation, and Payroll Tax).Accounting & Month-End: Maintain accurate records in Xero, execute bank reconciliations, track fixed assets, and handle intercompany adjustments.Cash Flow & Banking: Monitor bank balances, maintain cash flow forecasts in Float, and manage Accounts Payable and Receivable.Reporting & Analysis: Prepare weekly KPI, productivity, and cash-runway reports to guide leadership decision-making.Tax & Compliance: Coordinate BAS, PAYGW, WorkCover, and liaise with external tax advisers and auditors.Qualifications & SkillsTertiary degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.Hands-on experience in full-cycle payroll, reconciliations, cash-flow forecasting, and tax compliance.High proficiency in Xero, Float, and Excel/Google Sheets.Solid understanding of Australian payroll taxes and compliance obligations.Experience handling multi-entity or international operations (AU/US) is highly advantageous.
