The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, managing general ledgers, and preparing periodic financial statements. Responsibilities include accounts payable and receivable processing, bank and account reconciliations, expense tracking, and support for budgeting and forecasting activities. The role also involves maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with audits, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, and preparing reports for management decision-making. The Accountant will collaborate closely with project teams, operations, and leadership to provide timely financial insights that support BluRock’s luxury developments.QualificationsStrong proficiency in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations, with attention to accuracy and timeliness.Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support project and organizational planning.Familiarity with accounting software and SAP ERP systems; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.Understanding of IFRS or other relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in the UAE.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with a structured, detail-oriented working style.Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.Prior experience in real estate, hospitality, or construction sectors is beneficial, especially in luxury or high-end developments.Ability to work on-site in Dubai and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
