Company: Grandseal Building & Construction Materials LLC Location: UAE Industry: Construction Materials / Specialty Construction ChemicalsJob SummaryGrandseal is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to support the company’s day-to-day accounting and financial operations.

The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing receivables and payables, reconciling accounts, monitoring inventory-related transactions, and supporting month-end closing and financial reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily accounting transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.Maintain and reconcile Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.Monitor customer outstanding balances, aging reports, collections, and payment allocations.Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, customer accounts, and general ledger balances.Process and verify supplier invoices, purchase-related expenses, and payments.Review customer invoices, credit notes, receipts, and account statements.Support inventory accounting, including stock adjustments, inventory valuation, damaged stock, and reconciliation between physical and system quantities.Review product costing and landed costs, including freight, customs, clearing, and other import-related expenses.Assist with monthly and year-end closing activities, including accruals, prepayments, and account reconciliations.Prepare accounting schedules and management reports as required.Assist with UAE VAT calculations, reconciliations, and filing requirements.Maintain proper supporting documentation and ensure transactions are recorded accurately in Odoo ERP.Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Operations teams to resolve accounting and transaction discrepancies.Support external auditors and provide requested schedules and documentation.Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, internal controls, and UAE regulatory requirements. RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in trading, construction materials, manufacturing, or distribution.Strong understanding of AR, AP, GL, inventory accounting, and product costing.Experience with landed cost calculations and imported inventory is highly preferred.Good knowledge of UAE VAT requirements.Experience with Odoo or another ERP system is preferred.Strong Microsoft Excel skills.High attention to detail and ability to identify accounting discrepancies.Good communication and coordination skills.Ability to work independently and meet monthly reporting deadlines.
