Rangechem is committed to maintaining high standards in product quality, regulatory compliance, and customer service for healthcare providers and partners.Role Description The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining accurate ledgers, and reconciling bank and supplier accounts. This full-time, on-site role based in Nairobi County, Kenya involves preparing financial statements, assisting with budgeting, monitoring cash flow, and supporting monthly and year-end closing activities. The Accountant will process invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, ensure compliance with relevant tax and regulatory requirements, and support internal and external audits. The role also includes preparing management reports, analyzing financial data to support decision-making, and collaborating with other departments to ensure proper documentation and financial controls.Qualifications Strong skills in general accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledger management.Experience with budgeting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.Ability to work with accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.Knowledge of local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and audit procedures in Kenya.Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Strong ethical standards, confidentiality, and adherence to internal controls and compliance policies.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA) is an added advantage.Prior experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or distribution sector is beneficial.
