Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Jeddah. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling accounts. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, handling payables and receivables, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, assisting with audits, and generating periodic financial reports for management. The Accountant will collaborate with restaurant operations and management teams to provide accurate financial insights and support decision-making.QualificationsStrong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., ERP systems, Excel) and ability to work with financial databases.Experience with account reconciliation, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.Understanding of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit processes in Saudi Arabia.Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to identify discrepancies and propose solutions.Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and management.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, SOCPA) is an advantage.Relevant experience in the restaurant, retail, or hospitality industry is preferred.Ability to work on-site in Jeddah, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high ethical and confidentiality standards.
