Accountant

Key Requirements* Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field — Mandatory.* Minimum 6 years of professional accounting experience in the UAE — Mandatory.* Minimum 2 years of hands-on accounting experience within the real estate property development sector.* Strong knowledge of IFRS and applicable accounting standards — Mandatory.* Proven experience in Oqood, TAS, and Escrow accounting and related processes.* Strong experience in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements and management reports — Mandatory.* In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations and compliance requirements — Mandatory.* Strong practical experience in General Ledger, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and month-end/year-end closing.* Proven experience in real estate project accounting, property development transactions, and project-related financial reporting.* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.* Ability to work independently, manage priorities, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-paced real estate development environment.* Strong communication and coordination skills with management, auditors, banks, consultants, and relevant government authorities.
