Movement Search and Delivery is partnering with a Global Auto Company in the Metro Detroit Area to identify and evaluate an Accountant.On-Site / Hybrid / Remote:On-SiteSalary Goals:$70,000 – $85,000 Base Salary + Bonus

About the Role

Our client, a global auto organization, is seeking an Accountant with 1–5 years of experience to support the day-to-day accounting functions of its finance team. This position will play a key role in general ledger accounting, month-end close, account reconciliations, inventory accounting, and financial reporting while partnering with cross-functional teams across the business.What You Will Do:Prepare and post journal entriesMaintain and reconcile general ledger accountsAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processesPerform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesSupport inventory accounting and related analysisAssist with financial reporting and variance analysisSupport internal and external audit requestsEnsure compliance with company accounting policies and proceduresIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controlsCollaborate with operations and finance teams to support business objectivesWhat You Need to Succeed:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance2–5 years of accounting experienceStrong general ledger and month-end close experienceExperience in preparing account reconciliations and journal entriesProficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systemsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
