Team members work in a collaborative environment dedicated to sustainable financial progression and client success.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, preparing general ledgers, and reconciling bank and account balances. The role involves preparing financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing. The Accountant will monitor cash flow, track expenses and revenues, and maintain compliance with local regulations and internal policies. The role also includes preparing reports for management, supporting audits, coordinating with banks and external partners, and contributing to process improvements in the finance function.Qualifications Strong foundation in accounting principles, including experience with general ledger management, financial statements, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling).Knowledge of UAE financial regulations, tax/VAT requirements, and compliance standards relevant to the banking and mortgage sector.Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis to support business decision-making.Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions.Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) is an advantage.Previous experience in financial services, banking, or mortgage brokerage is preferred but not mandatory.
