Al Jomaih Energy & Water (AEW) headquartered in Saudi Arabia, is a fast-growing investor, lead developer, and operator of utility and infrastructure projects in various geographical markets such as KSA, GCC, Asia & North Africa, with investments in 6 GW of Conventional and Solar power plants, and around 700,000 m3/day of water.AEW was established in 2007, as a subsidiary of Al Jomaih Holding Company, a leading Saudi conglomerate with a legacy spanning over 80 years, focused on enabling sustainable, social, and economic progress in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and beyond.At AEW, our mission is to tackle new technologies, solve complex problems, and leverage our expertise to unlock opportunities in the Power, Renewables & Water Sectors, while driving impact for our stakeholders across the value chain.OverviewTo manage financial transactions, reporting, and compliance for energy projects and operations, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with industry and regulatory standards.Reporting StructureAccounting ManagerYour Job Functions (Duties & Responsibilities)Record and review financial transactions in compliance with IFRS/local accounting standardsAssist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliationsMaintain general ledger accounts and prepare supporting schedules for reportingTrack and report on the financial performance of ongoing projects, including budgeting and cost managementAssist in the preparation of management and statutory financial reportsEnsure proper application of accounting policies, procedures, and controlsSupport variance analysis of actual vs. budget for revenues, costs, and cash flowsProvide financial data and insights to assist in forecasting and budgeting exercisesMonitor bank transactions and prepare accurate bank reconciliationsAssist in weekly and monthly cashflow reportingEnsure correct accounting of VAT, Zakat, and other applicable tax requirementsPrepare documentation to support compliance with regulatory filingsPrepare schedules and documentation for internal and external auditsSupport the implementation and maintenance of effective internal controlsPost and maintain transactions in ERP systemsContribute to improvements in financial reporting systems and toolsSupport the finance team with financial analysis and report generation on an as-needed basisQualifications & Skill SetsBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in utilities, energy, or infrastructure sectorsKnowledge of IFRS/GAAP and local accounting standardsExperience with ERP systems (Oracle Fusion preferred)Strong MS Excel and Microsoft Office skillsAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailGood communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a teamCORE CompetenciesCollaboration & Communication Agility Resilience Initiative Adaptability TECHNICAL CompetenciesStrategic Thinking Result Orientation Stakeholder Management Financial Analysis & forecasting Accounting
