Accountant

The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.ResponsibilitiesManage GL Accounting processes, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions.Handle accruals and prepayments, maintaining compliance with accounting standards.Oversee petty cash transactions, recording all expenditures and reconciling balances.Manage vendor relationships, including processing payments and resolving any discrepancies.Financial analysis, reporting, and data management.Provide support for ERP system usage and contribute to system improvements.Reconcile accounts payable and receivableEnsure timely bank paymentsCompute taxes and prepare tax returnsReport on the company’s financial health and liquidityAudit financial transactions and documentsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5 years of proven experience in accounting roles in UAEStrong understanding of accruals, prepayments, and other accounting principlesProficiency in petty cash management and reconciliationExperience with vendor management and payment processingAbility to handle customer interactions, invoicing, and collection activitiesAdvanced skills in Excel for financial analysis and reportingUnderstanding of ERP is preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in work
