The individual in this role will manage daily accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling accounts. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, tracking payables and receivables, assisting with budgeting, and supporting monthly and annual financial closing activities. The Accountant will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, prepare financial reports and summaries for management, and support audits by maintaining accurate documentation. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams and external partners to resolve financial queries and improve accounting processes.Qualifications Strong skills in general accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheets, with the ability to manage digital records and financial data accurately.Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and basic financial analysis to support decision-making and performance tracking.Understanding of applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in Saudi Arabia.Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and support internal and external stakeholders.Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and maintain confidentiality of financial information.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., SOCPA, CPA, or equivalent) are an advantage.Prior experience in trading, import/export, wholesale, or retail sectors is beneficial.Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an asset for local communication and documentation.
